THERMOMAC COOKIE POLICY

Last updated: 7 August 2026

This Cookie Policy has been prepared to provide information about cookies on www.thermomac.net, operated by Beyanlab Laboratuvar Ürünleri Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi (the “Company”).

The Company is the data controller for personal data processed through cookies. This policy should be read together with the Privacy Policy and KVKK Information Notice published on our website.

1. What Is a Cookie?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device through your browser by the website you visit. They serve purposes such as enabling website operation, remembering preferences and evaluating usage.

Cookies are classified as:

  • Session cookies: Generally deleted when the browser session ends.

  • Persistent cookies: Remain on the device for a specified period or until deleted by the user.

  • First-party cookies: Set by the website being visited.

  • Third-party cookies: Set by a provider other than the website being visited.

2. Cookie Categories and Purposes

The descriptions below define cookie categories. The cookies actually used on our website are specified in the table in Section 3.

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are used to enable the website’s basic functions, ensure session security, carry out actions requested by users and save cookie preferences.

Functional Cookies

These cookies remember preferences such as language and display settings. Functional cookies that are not strictly necessary are used with your explicit consent.

Analytics Cookies

These cookies provide information about pages visited, frequency of use and technical performance. Analytics cookies that process personal data and require explicit consent are not activated before your consent is obtained.

Advertising and Marketing Cookies

These cookies are used to provide content or advertising relevant to your interests and measure campaign effectiveness. Cookies in this category are activated only with your explicit consent.

3. Cookies Used, Data Processed and Legal Grounds

Depending on the cookie used, information processed through cookies includes session identifiers, preference records, device or browser information and page usage information. The scope of each cookie is explained in the table below.

Cookie nameProvider and party typePurpose and information processedCategoryDuration on the deviceLegal ground
[Actual cookie name][Provider / first or third party][Specific purpose and data types][Category][Session or exact duration][Relevant KVKK processing condition]
[Actual cookie name][Provider / first or third party][Specific purpose and data types][Category][Exact duration][Relevant KVKK processing condition]

Depending on the nature of the activity, personal data processing through strictly necessary cookies is based on the condition under Article 5(2)(c) of the KVKK that processing is necessary for entering into or performing a contract, or the legitimate interests condition under Article 5(2)(f). Your fundamental rights and freedoms are taken into account where processing relies on legitimate interests.

For cookies requiring explicit consent, the legal ground is your explicit consent under Article 5(1) of the KVKK. Calling a cookie “strictly necessary” does not, by itself, justify using it without consent.

4. Managing Cookie Preferences

Cookies requiring explicit consent are not activated before you indicate your preference.

On the cookie preference screen, you can:

  • Accept cookies that are not strictly necessary.

  • Reject cookies that are not strictly necessary.

  • Set preferences by category.

Visiting the website, navigating between pages or reading this policy is not considered explicit consent.

You may change your preferences and withdraw your consent. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.

Rejecting cookies that are not strictly necessary does not prevent you from using the website’s basic services. However, additional functions dependent on rejected cookies may not operate.

5. Browser Settings

You can view, delete or block cookies through your browser settings. The steps vary depending on the browser you use.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies through your browser may affect certain basic functions. Deleting cookies may cause you to be asked to set previously saved preferences again.

6. Data Transfers

Transfers are limited to the information necessary for the relevant service and are carried out in accordance with Article 8 of the KVKK. Information may also be shared with competent public bodies and judicial authorities to fulfil legal obligations.

Personal data obtained through cookies used on our website are not transferred abroad.

7. Retention Periods and Security

The periods for which cookies remain on your device are shown in the table in Section 3. The retention period for data obtained through cookies in the Company’s systems is assessed separately. Deleting a cookie from your device does not mean that records in those systems are automatically deleted.

Personal data are retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant processing purpose and statutory obligations. When the grounds for processing cease to exist, the data are deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

The Company takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent unlawful processing and unauthorised access to personal data.

8. Your Rights and Contact Details

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to find out whether your personal data have been processed; request information if they have; learn the purpose of processing and whether the data have been used accordingly; learn which third parties have received your data; request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data; request deletion or destruction under the statutory conditions; and request that recipients be notified of these actions.

You may also object to adverse outcomes resulting exclusively from automated analysis and request compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing.

Application methods are explained in the Privacy Policy and KVKK Information Notice on our website. Applications are resolved as soon as possible, depending on their nature, and within 30 days at the latest. Responses are communicated in writing or electronically.
